A Note From the Author:
I am a survivor of a lifetime of abuse. From the tender age of eight until an older adult, I suffered various forms of abuse from several abusers. Life became a shadow of hopelessness and shame. I wore my mask and hid my nightmares from the world.
While attempting to write about my feelings of suffering, I began to realize how deep the pain really was. Through my writings, healing began to emerge as I transformed into a stronger being…the person God had planned me to be, all along. My goal was to touch someone like me…to help them rise above the difficulties and accept the healing that Christ offers.
Throughout the pages of Heart Written – Breaking Free, I not only share my thoughts of the blessings of everyday life we’ve all been granted, but also the hope and joy I have discovered through the goodness of God’s unconditional love and grace . . . even in the darkest times.
In 2014, my second book, Heart Written – Calling Me, was published. This year, two new books, Heart Written – Cleansing River and Heart Written – Guarded Treasures, were made available. Each of my books is over 300 pages (Cleansing River is over 400 pages) of pure inspiration.

Hello! Welcome to my blog! Thank you for your message, and for following! I haven’t been writing as I should, but life hasn’t been too kind lately. Seems I shut down a bit when things get too hard. I am also getting ready to publish two more books. I feel a little overwhelmed.
I must find time to read your blog soon! If you have something to share, by all means, share it! I was so hesitant, because of my lack of confidence. But I knew I had to do it to bring glory to my Father in heaven.
I self-published my first book, and I will do the same with my next two. I live on disability, and my funds are limited. It’s hard to market, but I feel God will send the right people in my path who need to hear what I have to say.I’m not in this to make money, but to spread the word about God’s love and healing for those like me.
By all means, publish your work. Once you publish your first one, you will be driven to do it again, and again. If you are interested in self-publishing, there are different sites for that out there. I went with Create Space. They have a printing and distribution department about three hours or so from me, so I can place an order and get it within a day or two.

Thank you for getting back to me. I definitely want to publish my stuff. The problem is that 3 out of the 4 books that I have written are about abuse. They have personal stories in them that would make my husband mad. I too long to share them to help others, not to make money. It will be hard to publish them without him finding out. I don’t want him to feel that I am bashing them. These are not about him, they are about my experience. Also I will have to come up with the money without him knowing. I don’t want to be secretive. So I am in a hard place. I am letting God lead. Thank you for your words of encouragement.
